Privacy Policy
This explains what musicv (musicvisu.online), run by Mengstab Ketemaw, collects and why. We collect as little as we can and never sell your data.
What we collect
Account: your email address and name, from sign-up (handled by our login provider, WorkOS).
Your projects: the songs and pictures you upload, their settings and lyrics. They're stored to run the service and are deleted when you delete the project.
Lyrics transcription: when you ask for it, the song's audio is sent to Google (Gemini) to write down the lyrics.
Payments: handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We never see your card details; we receive your email, what you bought and the subscription status.
Usage statistics: pages visited, the site you came from, device type, browser, time zone, and actions like "exported a video". This uses no cookies: a visitor is counted with a code made from the IP address and browser that changes every day, so you can't be followed from one day to the next. IP addresses aren't stored.
Error reports and support: technical details when something breaks, and the messages you send us.
Cookies
Only the sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Where it's kept
On our servers at Amazon Web Services in the European Union (Frankfurt), with encrypted backups. Usage statistics are kept for 13 months.
Your rights
You can see, download or delete your data, or close your account, by emailing us. Deleting a project deletes its song and picture; backups roll over within 30 days.
